Join Kate's Club
We're glad you've found Kate's Club. To enroll in our programs, you'll need to complete the following steps:
1. Please complete an application -click here to download and application. If you are unable to download the document, send an email to evyn@katesclub.org or call 770-618-4474 for an application.
2. Mail or fax your completed and signed application back to Kate’s Club when you and your child/teen feel comfortable to move forward. Our mailing address is Kate’s Club, PO Box 11805, Atlanta, GA 30355. Our fax number is 770-618-4476.
3. Attend the next scheduled New Family Orientation held monthly at the Kate’s Club Clubhouse.

Our Programs
Kate's Club is excited to offer a variety of programming options to meet the needs of your family. Registration and additional information for each program will be provided to active families on a regular basis.
For Children and Teens
Club Outings
These monthly adventures provide both the kids and "Buddy" volunteers the opportunity to enjoy a life-enriching event out in the Atlanta community.
Types of Activities: Each month provides kids and Buddies with a new and life-enriching experience. A calendar of activity is scheduled around the following areas:
- Sports and Entertainment
- Community Service
- Arts and Culture
- Holiday-themed activities
Clubhouse Saturdays
Come to the Clubhouse! The Clubhouse will be open for on-going support based sessions geared to age specific groups.
Types of Activities: These casual and social Saturday sessions will feature grief support and exploration through fun and interactive theme-based activities. Activities include sharing circles, “Griefstyles” coping sessions, arts and crafts, games and special guests.
Kate's Club Support Groups
These groups are open to any child or teen who have lost a loved one to death at any time in their lifetime. Groups are held weekly at the Clubhouse and are facilitated by a trained Kate's Club staff or volunteer.
Camp Good Mourning - August 8-10, 2008
Sponsored by The Jean Britt Plyler Foundation
This special annual gathering of Kate’s Club participants brings kids together in a traditional camp setting to enjoy activities, friendship and the learn how to deal with their grief in a positive way. Located on the campus of Camp Twin Lakes in Rutledge, GA, kids participate in swimming, hiking, horseback riding, arts and crafts and the annual camp dance. Children also have grief support activities where they can share with their peers and learn from each other about how to cope with their losses.

For Parents and Caregivers
The Park Bench
This program exclusively serves the surviving parents and guardians of our kids. Each quarter a gathering of support is facilitated for the parents and guardians while the kids attend the monthly outing.
All parents and guardians of active Kate's Club kids are invited to participate in a social gathering of support and friendship sponsored by Kate's Club. Location for Park Bench activities have varied but all have created a private forum to talk and share encouraging the formation of supportive relationships.
