Yesterday was a big day for families and friends of Kate’s Club. In the southwest Atlanta neighborhood of Grove Park, a tree planting was held through a partnership with Trees Atlanta marking the first annual Grief Awareness Day. For the McBride / Castleberry family, the day held special significance. They lost Tia + Tamara this past June and today would have been Tamara’s ninth birthday. We here at the blog join the McBride / Castleberry family in celebrating her memory with them. To see coverage of the event on WSB-TV… click here.
