One year ago today, the Grief Awareness blog launched as part of Kate’s Club’s efforts to help the community recognize the importance of dealing with grief and provide another resource for those in the grieving process.

Since that day over 8,000 people have visited the blog from six different continents. We shared Lisa’s story about dealing with the grief over the death of her brother. We told the Hensel Family’s story about the death of their father and husband. We have provided tools to help with the grieving process. And, we are just getting started!

Today is a thank you from us for being a part of this movement. Thank you for visiting the blog and sharing your stories with us. We ask that you continue to come back, tell others about it and keep sharing as we prepare for the second annual Grief Awareness Day on March 1, 2012.
