One of the primary goals of Grief Awareness Day is to highlight resources that families and communities can turn to for support. The vision is a day in which schools, youth-serving organizations, health care facilities, faith communities, families, media outlets, government institutions, and the community-at-large pause to recognize the importance of recognizing and appropriately dealing with grief.
With Grief Awareness Day just around the corner, those of us here at blog central have prepared a resource packet for educators, counselors, mentors, parents… really for anyone who is interested in spreading the word. The resource packet is intended to provide a simple framework for those who want do something to commemorate Grief Awareness Day.
If you would like a copy of the resource packet, please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll send it your way.
