The Moyer Foundation was founded in 2000 by World Series champion, Major League All-Star pitcher, Jamie Moyer and his wife, Karen. The foundation’s largest initiative is Camp Erin - a bereavement camp for kids. With 36 camps in 23 states and one in Canada, Camp Erin is the largest bereavement camp in the country, serving more than 2,500 children annually.

If you know a child who could benefit from attending Camp Erin, please visit their website for more information. Additionally, they have a blog that gives updates on the camps and provides resources for grieving families.

Would you like to share your story? Please get in touch with Kate's Club! KC has free grief support with grief resources, grief counseling resources, grief training, and volunteer work in Atlanta and surrounding places in Georgia. Kate's Club is a growing nonprofit in Atlanta with grief specialists for kids and young adults going through bereavement. Our goal is to make a world where it is okay to grieve.
