Kate's Club interns are passionate about supporting and working with our staff of grief specialists. They strive to help build Kate's Club into a prosperous nonprofit program for bereaved kids, young adults, and families. Meet Kate's Club Intern Jasmyn
Program Intern
Jasmyn is a senior at Kennesaw State University, majoring in Public Health Education. She hopes to pursue work that will eliminate health disparities within marginalized communities, specifically for access to mental health services. Jasmyn wants to use her experiences at Kate's Club to build her knowledge in program planning and implementation. Her hobbies include reading, completing puzzles, and trying new foods.
Meet Kate's Club Intern Josh
Program Intern
Josh is a Senior at Georgia State University and he is majoring in Psychology with plans to graduate in fall 2024. He plans to go into teaching after he graduates from college. Josh was born in Atlanta and has lived in Georgia all of his life. He joined Kate's Club because he has a passion for helping the youth in his community. In Josh's free time he enjoys playing basketball with his friends and spending time with his two dogs Kaia and Kain.
Meet Kate's Club Intern Dennis
Program Intern
Dennis is a senior at Georgia State University. He is graduating with a B.S. in Psychology and Minor in Kinesiology & Health at the end of Fall 2024. He aspires to pursue a Ph.D. and ultimately work as a Sports Psychologist, helping to counsel athletes, coaches, and other personnel. With Kate’s Club, he is hoping to further educate himself and others on the natural processes surrounding grief in relation to holistic health. In his free time, Dennis enjoys cooking, gardening, spending time with animals, sports/recreations, and much more!

Marketing Intern
Claire Foster is a recent 2023 college graduate from Georgia State University with a degree in Marketing and Film. She plans to pursue a career in digital marketing with an ultimate goal of working in social media marketing for a film production company. In her free time, Claire loves going to the movies with her friends and reading mystery books. She is so excited to work with Kate’s Club to improve her skills in social media and use these tools to connect people grieving the loss of somebody important to them.
Kate’s Club empowers children and teens, their families, and young adults facing life after the death of a parent, sibling, caregiver or someone important to them. We build healing communities through recreational and therapeutic group programs, education, and advocacy. Since its founding in metro Atlanta in 2003, Kate’s Club has served thousands of individuals who are grieving, through both direct service and outreach programs.
