The internet has changed the way society communicates and accesses information. Take this blog, for example… the internet has allowed us to share ideas for celebrating the memory of a loved one, and stories of individuals dealing with loss, and invite you all to the first Grief Awareness Day in Atlanta.

The internet has also become a platform for memorial tributes and an outlet for those who are dealing with grief. Take a look at this sampling of videos posted to YouTube…

Whether it be a video, music, or poetry, each is a celebration of a memory that felt right for the person grieving.

Would you like to share your story? Please get in touch with Kate's Club! KC has free grief support with grief resources, grief counseling resources, grief training, and volunteer work in Atlanta and surrounding places in Georgia. Kate's Club is a growing nonprofit in Atlanta with grief specialists for kids and young adults going through bereavement. Our goal is to make a world where it is okay to grieve.
