For those who lose a loved one to a terminal illness, the grieving process can begin long before the person passes away. The range of emotions in that time is complex and the priority becomes caring for and spending time with the person who is dying. Updating friends + family during this time has been made easier through organizations like Caring Bridge + Care Pages.

Caring Bridge + Care Pages offers free websites that can be used to share the latest medical updates, stories, and memories with those who need and want to know more. Additionally, writing about what is happening can be a helpful part of appropriately dealing with grief.

For more information or to create your own website, please visit Caring Bridge or Care Pages.

Would you like to share your story? Please get in touch with Kate's Club! KC has free grief support with grief resources, grief counseling resources, grief training, and volunteer work in Atlanta and surrounding places in Georgia. Kate's Club is a growing nonprofit in Atlanta with grief specialists for kids and young adults going through bereavement. Our goal is to make a world where it is okay to grieve.
