This time of year is filled with new school supplies, adjusting to schedules, homework… spelling words, reading lists… On this blog in the past we have shared reading lists to help kids and adults who are grieving. In the spirit of ‘back to school’ we would like to add another book to the list today – The Painting Table by Roger Hutchinson.

The book focuses on the fact that much of life happens around the kitchen table, but the grieving process suggests that this table can also be used to share memories and “celebrate living through the creation of something new”.

We invite you to turn your kitchen table into a painting table and share your stories with us, Kate's Club.
