Are you a leader in your community?

We are seeking a thoughtful, caring individual who can engage with the communities of Newnan and surrounding areas to continue to build out the unique programming that Kate’s Club offers. You will be someone who can connect with regional leaders, educational institutions, and healthcare resources to find families who need Kate’s Club services. You will use data to track our programs’ success, and be involved in fundraising efforts to drive support.

What you’ll do

Program management and facilitation (about 50% of the role)

You will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of Kate’s Club’s grief support programming for children, families, and young adults. You will recruit and grow new clubhouse membership, and organize school groups.

Build partnerships with local communities (about 30% of the role)

You’ll work with the Director of Metro Atlanta to map out local needs assessments, and recommend effective marketing and outreach approaches. You’ll focus on schools, faith organizations, health care providers, and other places that can serve as referral services or enablers of Kate’s Club programming.

Track and report progress of efforts (about 20% of the role)

The ability to demonstrate the value of the work we do at Kate’s Club is an integral part of this role. This person will be responsible for tracking participation and other key metrics to demonstrate to our funders that we are using our resources effectively to reach the grieving community.

A more detailed job description is available upon request.

What you will bring

  • A love of detail and execution: the ability to track multiple activities while still keeping a focus on the mission of the organization
  • Minimum of a two year degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • An understanding of bereavement and a passion for the Kate’s Club mission
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is highly preferred
  • Ability to analyze and utilize data related to tracking activity and outcomes of programming
  • Must live in the community

What we offer

  • Flexible hours starting at 40 hours per month, with opportunity for growth
  • Hourly salary: $25.00
